Virtually everyone who has past experiences with international adoptions has always stressed the need for a good night's sleep before leaving. Easier said than done...trust me!!!
Here it is - the day of our departure. We thought that this day would never get here. Yet here it is. At the time of this writing, our plane will be leaving the Airport in about 11 hours. Next stop - New York. Then on to Kiev.
Thanks to all of the well wishers at the various farewell gatherings during the past week. Thanks again for everyone's prayers, love and support. Regardless of the outcome, your good deeds and tidings will never be forgotten.
Most of all, thanks to my beautiful wife who has put her heart and soul into this adoption. Se agapo, Honey!!!
Our next "report" will be from Ukraine. Stay tuned....

I'm so thrilled for you both, it's wonderful what you are doing, hang in there - although it's hard it will definately be worth it in the end.
